Northwest Church Planting is the planting and re-planting ministry of the Northwest Baptist Convention (NWBC). As a network, we catalyze 15-25 new churches most years. Our churches are very diverse. Our churches worship each week in more than 25 languages and with more than 50 nationalities.
We support church plants/planters with a variety of systems, including: Prayer, Recruitment and Farm Systems, Assessment, Community Exegesis, Partnership Development, an Administrative Hub (church finances), Coaching, Supervision, Cohorts, Soul Care, Spouse Support, and Planter Children Support. We are diligent in helping plants/planters to partner churches that provide prayer support, mission involvement, financial giving, and partnership advocacy. (Also know as Pray, Play, Pay, and Parlay.)
A major focus for us increasing the number and strength of Multiplying and Sending Churches. We have had hundreds and hundreds of partner churches over that past 25 years. We cooperative with local associations and SEND Network of the North American Mission Board (SBC).
Northwest Church Planting’s parent organization (NWBC) is a network of over 500 Southern Baptist Churches in Washington, Oregon, northern Idaho, and the tip of northern California.
We also support other networks through the NW Church Planting Coalition, which has had 15-20 different denominations and networks. We assist/partner with church planting in British Columbia, Hawaii and globally.
